Are PEMF devices safe if I have a pace maker?
PEMF (Pulsed Electromagnetic Field) therapy is generally not recommended for individuals with pacemakers or other implanted cardiac devices. The magnetic fields produced by PEMF devices could possibly interfere with pacemaker function, causing, for example, incorrect sensing of heart activity or reduced pacing rates.
